Volunteers Report

AUGUST

Day One

Hedging at the old pro shop and the grasses around the 3rd tee was carried out.

Cut out dead wood in the shrub garden left of the 11th tee near the dam.

Removed low lying branches from shrubs in the garden on the right of 4th tee.

Mulched the 6 garden beds at the end of the islands in the car park, behind the 10th green and garden left of 4th tee.

Picked up tree and shrub waste from various spots around the course.

Day Two

Completed the mulching behind the 10th green and at the 16th tee garden.

Picked up and removed rubbish from previous shrub trimming at the garden on the 7th right, before the second creek crossing.

Trim trees and collected fallen branches along the left side of the 3rd from tee to green.

 

Greens Mowing

Ground staff have right of way at all times.

Course Maintenance Plan

Weekly Course Schedules

Greens– mowed, dew whipped or rolled- 7 days a week

Holes cut- Monday AM, Friday arvo, Sunday – caps changed

Fairways– mowed- weekly- as required- less often during winter

Bunkers– raked Tuesday, Friday 

Edges- trimmed – as required

Constant manage sand depth

Tees/ Surrounds

Tee plate Rotation- twice week

Tee Divot repair- weekly

Mowing- weekly

General

Rough cut – as required- 40ml-50ml heights.

Ball washers/ Bins/ Sand boxes, Buckets, Car park clean weekly/ twice weekly- 

Annual Maintenance Plan

Greens

Dusted- every 4-6 weeks- typically Mondays- course staff have right of way beginning August 2024

Note- Monday comp may be suspended on occasions if course maintenance doesn’t allow for comp to be played

Small Aerated – as required

Greens Renovation Corring- September / Mid March 2025

Pre emergent spray winter grass- Autumn

Concept design attached for re-instatement at the end of the project with Melbourne Water via TP golf.
